Internship Program

Being at NikoLALeasing has helped me explore the creative side I never thought I had. My favorite part of this internship was that Niko allowed us the freedom we needed to be creative to get things done. As a marketing intern, I learned how rapidly things can change and how a team has to adjust to unpredictable events. It’s a glimpse of the real world. We finished the internship during a unique time because we were forced to work from home. Niko turns every moment, happy or sad, into a learning opportunity. I have never met anyone more passionate about their work than Niko. Not only is he an expert in his field, he is also a great teacher and you can learn a lot from him.

When I first started interning for Keller Williams / Niko LA Leasing, I was intimidated and nervous because I was exploring a new field. I didn’t have any experience in marketing or real state. The internship has been very valuable. Niko not only taught me how to apply my knowledge and skills in the real world, but he also taught me humanity. He cares, trusts, believes and loves teaching his interns. During our internship, we faced many challenges, businesses were closed but Niko gave us the opportunity to finish our internship from home. I learned to be flexible, efficient, responsible, independent, and productive working alone from home. In the world, anything can happen, and we need to learn how to adjust and innovate for the unpredictable. I am so thankful, and I really recommend this great experience to anyone!

My internship at Keller Williams / Niko LA Leasing has been one of the most memorable experiences I could have ever asked for. With business management as my major, I was fully able to take my education and integrate it into Niko's company. Niko challenged my creative side daily, of which I did not know I had, as he led me to "transition from a classroom to the workforce". I was able to experience what a class A community was about and take part as Niko took me to many communities across the LA area. This internship was not your typical internship where you sit back and watch and learn, It has been more of a "hands-on" experience for me for sure. I have gained both knowledge and friends while working alongside my fellow interns and taking the time to enjoy the office dogs. This has truly been a life-changing opportunity for me and I am very grateful and thankful to both Niko and Brandon who gave me the opportunity to learn from them. As I have stated earlier, you will not find any other internship like this one, I consider myself lucky to have been a part of both an awesome family and friends at Niko LA Leasing!

Interning at Niko LA Leasing was an incredible experience and will not be forgotten. Having the opportunity to learn and work by Niko’s side was a great honor. Not only did I learn a tremendous amount of knowledge about the corporate culture, but I also grew as an individual. With Niko’s teaching, I was able to successfully transition myself from the college setting into the corporate setting. Niko is an inspirational and caring individual that only wants to see you succeed. Thank you, Niko for this one in a lifetime opportunity! And thank you for selecting me for your internship program.

This Internship at Niko LA Leasing / Keller Williams was a great transition from the classroom to the professional workforce. The skills and competencies I have learned throughout this internship have been clearly distinguished thanks to the time I spent with Niko Deleon. I have learned so much in regards to the corporate and professional world and it is nice to have someone like Niko who is both passionate about his work and experienced in the corporate world, to guide and instruct you in becoming the best version of yourself. I highly recommend this internship to anyone who wants to step foot into the professional workforce.

Working at Niko LA Leasing a second time has been a great experience and one that I will remember in the days to come. I was an entrepreneur intern and worked closely with Niko and Brandon on various different projects. I was able to learn what an entrepreneur might face when opening a startup firsthand and a taste of the load of work it takes to own a business. Not only that I was able to see more in-depth the real estate market and its operations and got better at taking different challenges at once and being able to adapt to different environments. I learned from Niko’s experience in the workforce and his team. I would say one of the biggest delights was that I was able to meet a wonderful team of interns who were diligent and hardworking and great people overall. I wish we could have spent more time together but the peak of the COVID-19 happened but through these tough times Niko supported us and encouraged us to keep aspiring to be better even during bad economic times. I am very grateful to Niko for this learning opportunity in which I was able to grow as a person, meet extraordinary individuals and be ready for the corporate world.

My departing words as both an intern at Niko LA Leasing and a student at Cal State Northridge, use this as a stepping stone. Both school and this internship give you the ability to pursue what you really want in life. I spent five years studying at CSUN and learned the functions of what and how to do marketing in the world. This is what led me to this internship here at Niko LA Leasing, it was the commencement of my career as a professional. You get to learn what is expected of you in the real world when you have to meet deadlines with real-world repercussions, and it no longer being just getting a bad letter grade. Despite not wanting to stay in the Real Estate market, I’ve definitely taken away a lot from here, along with the experiences I will be keeping the connections I’ve made with my peers forever.

Interning at Niko LA Leasing has been an incredible journey. When I first started off, I was inexperienced and uncertain about many topics in the business world. With Niko's guidance and knowledge, I was about to grow both personally and professionally.  I learned a great deal about real estate at this internship. The opportunity to work with Niko and team has been priceless.

I will most definitely miss this experience; everyone at work was great! I was able to meet and communicate with various different personalities at Niko LA Leasing I was able to get more experience in my communication skills, I was able to talk to many people, learn about real estate, entrepreneurship and most importantly got a lot of experience on my marketing skills by producing content for everyone, I think is up to you to make the most out of the experience.

Participating in this internship gave me the opportunity to learn and experience the most from the marketing and Real Estate field. I got to work alongside Niko and my team to put into practice what I learned in the classroom and further extend my knowledge and skills in social media content creation. Overall it inspired me to work harder and be better than I was yesterday.

Interning for Niko LA Leasing was such a tremendous honor and a great learning experience. Having the opportunity to learn from Niko was extremely important to me because of his extensive years working in this business and having the knowledge to ensure I would be successful as well. That being said, Niko has been an inspiring mentor and sets his interns up for success by guiding them and taking them out of their comfort zones to challenge them into delivering their best. This internship helped me transition and develop from the classroom to the workforce because I had to apply all my learnings into this job. I highly and undoubtedly recommend this internship to anyone ready to continue their learning experience or set foot into the real estate industry.

Interning for Niko is one of the best internships one could get. The work culture formed in this internship between all the interns is the best and makes the internship a very enjoyable experience. As a management major, I not only got to put the theory I learned in class into practice, but I also learned a lot about marketing. I also got introduced to a whole different side of LA and got to experience its expanding real estate industry first hand. Throughout this internship, I worked on an array of activities from interviewing future interns to creating promotional content for our communities. Overall this has been an amazing experience and would recommend it to anyone looking to expand their knowledge.
