Internship Program

I was lucky enough to be given the chance to intern for Niko Deleon. Working under him has taught me more in the last few months than most universities will teach you in a few years. As his interns, we were able to see first hand how the real-estate and marketing fields work in the background. most people get to see the end result but do not get the opportunity to work behind the scenes to create something magical. Whether it was dealing with clients in person or e-mail, or helping run and promote events, we were able to do all of that and more. Niko has helped all of us break out of whatever shell we may have had, and helped us develop into business professionals ready to take on the real world post-CSUN. If there is one thing I would like to say, would be a huge THANK YOU for all you have taught us, all you have shown us, and for giving us this opportunity to be mentored by, and taught by, you, Niko!

Interning at Niko LA Leasing has been an unforgettable experience both personally and professionally. I learned a great amount of knowledge from Niko and he has personally helped me grow as a person. This internship allowed me to apply the knowledge that I learned in the classroom into a professional setting and pushed me to put my best work out there. Niko holds all of his interns accountable for their work but still makes coming to work an enjoyable experience and something to look forward to. I would recommend this internship to anyone looking to apply their knowledge in a professional environment and learn how a professional workplace operates.

I would describe the environment of this internship as being good-natured, welcoming, and approachable. Interestingly enough, that is exactly how I would describe Niko. He was always there to provide guidance and also allowed us to work independently. Niko brought out the best in me because I became a reflection of his perseverance and optimistic attitude. In addition to looking for an internship in the marketing field, I was looking for mentorship.  I received that and more, and I am forever grateful that Niko gave me the opportunity to be a part of this internship. I highly recommend this experience to anyone and everyone!

This internship has been an amazing experience for me. I feel very lucky that I had a chance to work with a boss like Niko and my fellow teammates. During my internship, I was allowed to use my creativity and apply my theoretical knowledge to Niko LA Leasing in a professional environment. I just can’t thank Niko enough that he trusted in me and appreciated my efforts. He is such a warm and friendly boss that he made all of us comfortable working with him. I will never forget this experience that I had in this important stage of my life!!

This internship has allowed me to expand my marketing and promotion skills in an unfamiliar field. Even though I am a management major, this opportunity has made me view the real estate market in more depth and understand the different tones and communication styles there are. Niko is an amazing person and I am glad that he took a chance with me being his intern. He pushes you, motivates you, and wants us to gain real-world experience out of this internship. I am beyond thankful for this opportunity.

Working under Niko has taught me a lot. In the beginning, I was worried about how the internship would go, as English is my second language. My fears vanished when I met Niko. He is a very patient and caring individual. His goal is to prepare us for the real world, and I can say without a doubt that he has accomplished this. I have learned so much from Niko. With his guidance, I was able to understand how all the business theories I have learned from school interconnects with real-world practices and tactics. My new found knowledge of real estate marketing is a tool I am proud of and eager to use.

Interning for Niko has allowed me the opportunity to enhance my marketing skills and also build the confidence to step out of my comfort zone. It was an exciting experience and I had fun while learning new skills. Throughout the internship, he challenges your skills and ability to handle assignments, which prepares you for the real world. Overall, beneficial lessons were learned that will give me the ability to grow and prosper in the future.

I had a very positive experience while interning at Niko LA Leasing. Niko taught me valuable lessons that have helped me grow as a person. This internship took me out of my comfort zone and gave me opportunities to take lead and apply my skills and abilities in creating content, managing digital media, and practicing networking skills. He is a great teacher as he pushes you to do your best and holds you accountable for your work yet a great mentor at the same time, being easy to talk to and giving you guidance the whole way through.

Niko's internship has been an excellent opportunity to gain experience and confidence in a professional setting. Niko has provided me with guidance and advice that will help me throughout my entire career and life. I would strongly recommend this internship to anyone. It has been valuable, informative, and most importantly, fun

I had such a great time experience working with Niko and being an intern at Keller Williams. I went into this internship with specific goals I wanted to achieve, and not only achieved them but also gained an understanding of why those goals are so important. Niko truly sets you up for success as you become a more polished professional in the workplace. I absolutely recommend this internship to anyone who wants to learn and have fun while doing it.

As an intern for Niko LA Leasing, I was not only able to gain a valuable amount of business and professional skills, but I was also able to grow personally. Niko offers a unique and hands-on approach to his internship, actually allowing his team to learn and grow. The internship covers a variety of topics, including management, marketing, and website design; however, the most valuable part of the internship is Niko’s warmth and faith towards his team! I have learned an invaluable amount from this internship, and am thankful for the opportunity!

Before the interview with Niko I had been discouraged by a potential “mentor”. My anxiety was through the roof, my interview skills were lacking confidence, and for a second I truly believed I was incapable of earning an internship opportunity all on my own. On April 13th, I interviewed with Niko, and one of his leasing assistants and the rest is history! Niko, I can not thank you enough for the opportunity and the wonderful learning experience you provided.
